Nouveau Riche University is actually a real estate
business oportunity program that likes to be referred to as an
educational program. According to sources their least expensive way to
get involved is at the $75.00 level.They also have a $300 level which
we have learned has access to their web based real estate locator and
management tools on their website. You can also attend their college
which is done from Hotels for about $16000. Less costly college
packages are aslo available for the Noveau Riche University program.
Many people are invited to attend a Noveau Riche
presentation at Hotel and this is often how they are introduced to the
system. The interesting thing we hear about the presentation is the
Noveau Riche rep frequently mentions their University,leaving you with
a vision of a college campus, etc. However upon further questioning,
you find out that the university is actually held at Hotels. Now that
isn't too shocking as today many students receive online degrees.
Our acquaintence in online marketing offered that
upon leaving their informational get together you are asked to fill out
a form. This is excellent marketing as even though you may not be
interested to sign up right then, you may be in the near future.
Statistics say it takes up to seven visits by a customer to finally
purchase a product- the sweat spot may be around 5. Ask us a little
trick we know, using that statistic to boost your website conversion
rates!
One thing we learned is 50% of the tuition is for
the person that that got you to sign up.Now that is a lot of money in
commission for just one sign up. Can you imagine more sign ups than
one?

I was reading your review about NRU, and I wanted to cut and paste a
post on a NRU bashing site, that I responded to. After reading
and checking out my site, feel free to contact me anytime!
Well, you are right, I definately would not have
bought in Flint,
Michigan! However, I feel your implication is that we all
HAVE to buy properties from NRU.
Not true, the one property that I did buy, I found
myself, and the other 4 properties we are buying are from the
aquisition strategies that we were taught at the college. We are going
to get them at 50 cents on the dollar. We havent decided if we want to
flip them or rent them for cash flow, of course with that kind of
builtin equity, we can do a cash out, rent them, still cash flow, and
purchase more properties with the cash. If I never went to NRU, call it
a week long seminar with over 32 different classes to take, 4 or more
times a year, then do so.
It is structured exactly like a University in my
mind, been there, know it's real. I would never have had the courage to
just do it with knowledge obtained from reading a $20 book, or a $5,000
3 day seminar with no teacher/mentor connections. They are a huge
support system. What people get hung up on is the marketing, and
thinking that only way we have to buy properties is thru NRU. Their
investor concierge is only a service, some of the properties are
actually great. Some I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole, however,
some people have other strategies and comfort zones. The majority of
properties are in a high ecomonic growth area. Grant you, there are
pocket areas also, but that is why as an investor, you should always do
your own due diligence and not rely soley on other "experts". They
highly recommend that we do that often. NRU is a great educational
system, with community benefits, period. People pay much higher to get
much less of an education. I wish there were more entrapenurial
educational systems out there, maybe I could learn to spell!
