How To Get Free Traffic To
Your Website
So, you just joined your new
business/program and have no idea what to do to get traffic?
You are not alone and we will
change that in this article.
I am convinced of this: programs
are all designed to make sales; people fail when they don't learn
effective ways to drive traffic to the program to make a sale soon.
They quickly get disillusioned,
and think the program does not work. Well, it works for those with
LARGE traffic volumes. So, can you learn some simple technique to get
your first sale?
This will be a work in progress and we will write what we
know works. We will offer what we feel is the EASIEST way to COPY what
we do to get traffic and gets immediate opt ins and your first sale
online. BUT, you WILL need to put in some effort. If you believe all
the hype and crap online about working for a few minutes a day, and
earning thousands of dollars in days, then you are dreaming and you
should not be reading this- you will just keep getting taken by all the
ads that claim this, then never show you how to even get a prospect let
alone a sale...but we will explain that as well as long term traffic.
The fact that YOU are here reading this should tell you that
we know something about getting traffic to COME to us...and it is not
all that "attraction marketing stuff"...it is pure technique
we use to get keywords you search for to lead you to us.
NO, we won't tell
you
to do stuff that doesn't work. We hope you will see that we know
something here and join us...then let's build together.
Notice I said BUILD?
That's key to traffic (building) generation. Most traffic does not flow
immediately, unless you know PPC, have a list of customers to market
to, use list builders, or have been established online for a while and
have some traffic sources built up. This is a key thing to realize.
Let me say a few
things to set the stage for what we will tell you here. You may accept
them or not but we are here to tell you the truth as we know it. There
is no magic or mystery to how some people have tons of traffic, and
others have near zero. The ones with a lot of traffic have been online
for some time and have BUILT their traffic up. Don't worry, we can show
you how to get immediate traffic too. This brings up another point:
Most advertisers
online that sell traffic, don't guarentee results. This often can lead
to traffic that "does not work". Never try traffic that has not been
tested by someone you trust, and told you it works. TESTING is the only
way to know. There are too many variables for whether traffic will be a
match to your capture page, to know for sure. This is a good reason to
join a team
or system where you get to know your sponsor or upline so you all can
share in knoweledge
of what works and what doesn't. This way no one person is paying for
all the advertising testing.
Also, most leads are
also junk. Again unless you test them, you won't know,
but all these "5000 leads" or email "30,000,000 a month" ads are all a
waste of time. That traffic is often
old leads, or not matched to your niche...Do NOT BUY leads.
The real truth is
most online programs are designed to work for anyone, they are not
designed to see you fail. People fail when they expect too much too
soon for too little effort. Read that last line a few times over. Let
it sink in because once you
believe in those words, you will stop searching for the magic ways to
get traffic, and stop
jumping to the "easier" program, and start learning SKILLS , then
taking action on those skills. What ever business you are in or
whatever trade you learned for your job...you had to learn the skills
of the trade- correct? Well, this is the same. The problem here is ,
too few people really know what to teach you,
because 99% are failing in their online businesses.I can assure you
that you will get opt ins, and sales with our methods, BUT you MUST
learn the SIMPLE skills...and then take action.
First lets list some traffic methods that we are familiar
with and do work, from less quality traffic to higher quality. Quality
meaning the level of desire the lead may have to join you. Our opinion
is traffic exchanges, safelists, list builders, then the more high end
traffic like; blogs, social marketing, search engine optimization
(SEO), article marketing,youtube and other video marketing, review
websites, and pay per click (PPC) all work. NOTE with ppc you can have
an ad
posted in less than 5 minutes and potentially have traffic coming to
your webpage nearly as fast, BUT if your keywords and ad are not well
matched to your capture page, you may PAY for a lot of clicks and get
zero sales. AGAIN, ppc is for the more advanced, and when you have a
budget to work with for TESTING.We can help you with pay per click but
it is not
where we start new people.
LIST BUILDERS
Listbuilders are quite good if you are on a budget. You can
employ various techniques to maximise your results. These are the
easiest to DUPLICATE- usually just copy and paste an ad, then send it
to the list builder list. DO NOT read all the other marketers ads; just
stay focused to draw them to YOUR business.
- Join only good ones. The ones which claim to have 50000 or
100000 members are usually not that good.
You might get a better result from a list of 6k-20k like viral url or
listeffects.
- Join like 8-10 good listbuiders, and post regularly.
Everyday !
- Make multiple accounts in each of them. One paid account
and the rest free accounts. Or whatever suits your budget.
This way you do not have to wait for 3 days to post ads.
- Headlines and Ad copy are very important because at the end
of the day you want your ad to be opened. If the subject/headline is
not good, the ad won't be opened. Always use the name tag in the
headline. Response is much better.Take into consideration various
factors..emotional quotient etc. to be sure the ad is appropriate for
the reader; emotion makes the ads get opened and hype tends to sell

This List Building Review may
help you ge started with using list builders to get traffic. They are
easiest to get a start in your traffic building as they are least
technical to learn; we have many on our GDI team get to leaderboards w/
free list builders but you must take massive action- join even up to 50
to see the traffic flow in. Then once you see these work, advance to a
blog to get more continual traffic...NO need to keep clicking!
That's it :) It works but you have to make a consistent
effort which we are sure you will.

Factor
Many new members will ask for a step by step blue print on
what to join, what ad to post, when to post,etc. This is not an easy
question to answer.You may think it should be straight forward, but the
internet is not consistent. Let me explain and show you how this
affects everyones results...and why we can't offer an exact what to
do...but we can offer a daily routine.
These are things that can affect sales online: time of day
your ad is sent, day of the week, time of year, if anything wordly is
going on it seems the entire internet is either asleep (off line) or
going crazy online looking for programs- we seem to be all connected as
humans :)> Then if you add in the ad headline you used, which list
builder you used, you can see pretty quick that there are way too many
variables that can affect your results.So the simple answer to that is
this:
CONSISTENTLY send out ads each day. DO NOT get stuck
analysing every email ad you send vs the results. We know on our team
system that 1 in every 15 to 20 opt ins is a sale on AVERAGE. This
could be opt in #1, #15, #20, #40....but it averages to 1 in 15-20. So
heres the kicker....imagine joining a high cost program that needs 250
opt ins to make a sale, and you are getting 1-3 opt ins a day using
this FR.EE method...you will need some 80 days to see 250 optins...!
Now do you see why low cost programs under $10 convert very well, and
in todays economy, we should all be looking for such price point
progams. Most people get nervous when they have been sending ads for a
few days and may have 10 opt ins...CAN YOU HANG IN THERE TO GET 15, OR
WHAT IF YOU NEEDED 250 ( THIS IS WHY MANY FAIL- THEY QUIT BEFORE THEY
EVER GET STARTED). READ THIS OVER AND OVER AS IT IS KEY.
So the simple step by step is this: send ads consistently
each day, whatever you can do in your busy schedule,
realize that one ad a day will not get you there fast, maybe not even
in a month, watch that you are getting opt ins, change the subject line
if you are not getting opt ins, keep the same ad if it is working so
you can keep that consistent, then watch for a sale in your first 1- 15
or 20 or possibly more optins. Remember you opt ins will lead to a sale
in time!! DO NOT get stuck trying to analyse all this; just DO IT!
CONVERSION RATES-NICHE MARKETS
Many people join us and think they can buy any ad and place
it and get immediate traffic and sales. They also think they can build
their own websites and magically people will find their sites or they
think
once at their sites the people will just start buying from them. Folks
it is an art to design a website that CONVERTS the prospect to a paying
customer. Your website has less than a few seconds to grab someones
attention to decide to look at your offer and buy from you. Just simple
things like what color you make something on a webpage can affect HOW
MANY prospects will actually buy from you. Where you place a banner (
upper right hand side is where most say is best) can make the
difference of how many will click that banner and buy from you.
The best way to get started online is to COPY a system or
capture page that is known to work-known to CONVERT to sales. Also, if
you send NON TARGETED traffic to your capture page, you can have a lot
of traffic potentialy
stopping by your site and not buying. So...COPY , COPY, COPY when you
are new.
So, conversion rates are in how many people need to stop by
your website before they will opt in to get more info from your
autoresponder. It also relates to how many opt ins you need to make a
sale. Now the systems I like and use all make sales without me needing
to phone people. I am not a salesperson and I HATE when I get pestered
by other sales people calling my house with the latest and greatest
"get rich scheme" of the week. I surely do not want to offer any
programs like that. So I make all my sales by the website doing the
selling and telling for me. I never cold call or close sales by phone!
I receive an email that someone joined. Then I followup by sending a
pre written team welcome email to them.
Now in some low cost programs, like my GDI program at
$10/month we see about 1 in 15 to 20 op tins will be a sale. This will
repeat itself as long as you are sending out consistent ads. That's how
online selling works. Once you have consistent traffic flowing to your
capture page, it is a numbers game as to who will join you.If you were
selling something more expensive I can assure you,
you may need to call the people to close the sale! So, that is an
important aspect of any program-knowing exactly what effort we need to
do to make a sale.Many marketers do not know this and they think they
need to be on the phone all day trying to make sales. Well I know
differently.
It's a People Business; We all look for someone to
lead us, right?
One thing that may be a surprise to you is that people do not
really join programs.They are really joining the offer that they see as
best to get them started and making money. The program is important,
but we are really looking for LEADERSHIP. Someone to guide us. I teach
this to my team as it was taught to me. We all help our new members one
on one no matter how long it takes. BUT, here's the SAD part. MANY of
you will not do the effort to learn this, you may think and believe all
the
hype, you jump from program to program looking for an "easier" way,
faster way to success, you won't email more than a few times to ask
questions, you may quit in the first week ( it is nearly impossible to
get
a sale in your 1st week unless you get lucky , work very hard to get
ads out, or have TRAFFIC from your past efforts to build your traffic
arsenal). I have recruited over 800 as this is written- some have
become
huge successes, and some quit in time. Now, why do some quit and some
succeed? IT's not the program!
As you can see I am quite passionate about this topic. I hate
to see people fail. What I really wonder about is why would you join a
program, then NOT ask questions. Or worse assume you know what to do,
and go off joining all kinds of worthless advertising INSTEAD of
asking your sponsor exactly what to do. COPY your way to success is the
key when we are new to all this.
My top leaders emailed me 10-20 times a day when they first
joined me. I did the same when I joined to LEARN every inch of this
business. MY team stays in touch daily /weekly and we share our
knowledge as to what we see working. It is very time consuming and
costly to test every traffic source, so we all try diferrent things
then we tell eachother what we found to work. As long as we make sales
and the return on investment is profitable, we are doing well. Do NOT
be shy. ASK questions! We love when we see someone asking many
questions...we know they will soon be making sales. Those of you that
join things, then do very little, and never ask much to learn, we will
help you too, BUT
until you ask us something, we have no idea what your needs or skills
are. EVERYONE starts at a different level and we do not know where you
are
so you need to ask us things so we can place you and help.
STEP BY STEP- many ask for a step by step what to do. There
are basic step by step things to do but you really can't learn online
marketing by a perfect step by step approach. There are too many ways
to get to the same objective, so keep this in mind. Don't get
frustrated if we are vague at times..thats just the way this is. You
will know this the more you ask and learn.So start by asking us some
questions and we will tailor our replies to your exact needs. Sound

80/20 RULE- EYE Opening and Some Secrets
The 80/20 rule relates to how people in life will work at
things or see results. 80% will do most of the work on your team. 20%
will do the minimal efforts. This is in any business or group. It's how
we are all designed. So your business will grow by mostly the 80%
workers. You may find a 1-3% person- these are the real go getters that
seem to have unlimited energy, drive and a desire for results and
success.
Here's a little tip or secret on 80/20. You need to find a
program that will offer true residual income. The product must be
something that people will keep paying for , for many years, even if
they don't make sales or grow a business. GDI for example sells domain
names and hosting. This is a starting point for any online business.
So, many people join us and keep their product even if they don't sell
the business opportunity, some stay and refer a few people, and some
refer many...this creates a high retention rate so our residual income
grows. That is very important to know when looking for a residual based
income. Most people join things not seeing this long term vision of
where you want to be as your residual income grows.They also do not
realize the success of
them growing a residual income depends on offering a product or service
that will have huge value and will be something people will want to
keep for many years- like a domain name with their own name. Mine for

I will probably keep that domain name for a long time- so that residual
payment
keeps coming and my upline earns from that payment.
BEYOND LIST BUILDERS
List builders are a good way to start to get traffic but soon
you will get tired of clicking for credits and you will want to not be
so tied to tasks that take a lot of time and seem to not get as many
sales as you would like. Keep in mind list builders are some of the
easiest ways to get IMMEDiate traffic flowing-easy meaning you don't
need to learn anything technical...just copy and paste email ads. We
feel this gets most people WILLING TO DO THE EFFORT into some
traffic and sales so they don't get disillusioned. Many new people
struggle early on expecting this windfall of sales and income which
will come once traffic is built up....but they need to see some
positive results sooner than later to feel what they joined truly can
earn them something.
You would be shocked how fast people cry scam, or
fowl...would you buy a McDonalds franchise or any franchise for say
$50,000 to $1,000,000 and in less that a few days say "this doesnt
work, I have not made the millions the franchise said I might" so I am
going to quit. I don't
think so....so please try to realize this is no different.
After list builders, we suggest to our members that they look
at getting a blog or review type website. Blogs can build traffic over
time, and once that trafic is flowing, it will tend to keep flowing
without your needing to on a daily basis do the efforts like clicking
for credits as with list builders. BUT don't be surprised when your
blog too need some work. Blogs don' just appear and have traffic to
them...NO website gets traffic without you doing some simple things to
get that traffic and this too may take you weeks to several months to
build up.
BUT once it is building and flowing it KEEPS flowing...this my friends
is what they are talking about when you see ads about automated income
cash machines...once the traffic is flowing to a converting webpage,
the sales just keep coming.
So you can work list builders while on a daily basis BUILD your blog or
review type website traffic .
